  • Babe in the woods:- A babe in the woods is a naive,defenceless, young person.
  • Back burner :- If an issue is on the back burner, it is given a low priority.
  • Back number :- Something that is back number is out of fashion.
  • Back the wrong horse :- if you back a wrong horse you give support to losing side.
  • Back to square one :- if you are back to square one then you start from beginning again.
  • Back to drawing board :- You start from beginning again.
  • Back to salt mine :- if someone says they have to go Back to salt mine, it means they have to return to work.
  • Back to wall :- If you have your back to wall, you are in a difficult situation with very little room for man-oeuvre.
  • Backseat driver :- Used for one who is fond of giving advice to a person performing task or doing something especially when it is unwelcome.
  • Bad apple :- A person who is bad and makes others bad is a bad apple. 
  • Bad blood :- If people feel hate because of things that happened in the past, there is bad blood between them. 
  • Bad egg :- A person who cannot be trusted. 
  • Bad hair day :- You are having a bad hair day if things are not going as you wish or had planned.
  • Bad mouth :- If you are bad-mouthing, you are saying negative things about someone or something Bad shape :- If something is in bad shape it is in bad position and if someone is in bad shape then he/she is not fit.
